12/15 sword report

Finally back on here posting some reports! Wed night fishing out of Miami we had 1 fish that went 52" and called it a night around 8:30 due to some sick guests on board! Last night we had a slightly better bite and we started off with a bang boating a fat 56" fish at 8:30 that ate a bluerunner while i was dropping it down. After resetting we had a quick bite on the tip rod and a few minutes later our long bait with a squid got smoked! I got steve in the harness and he started working the fish on an 80. At this point the fish is still pulling line but slowed down a little bit....then the rogue wave came and knocked steve over just as the fish started making its move up and with the resulting slack line the fish came undone! Drifted for another 30 minutes and called it a night around 10pm. Both night the bites came in 13-1450ft.

Nice to see you poasting again. Alot of us remember the slobs you were poasting last year remember that Mako you caught what did he weigh? I think it was almost 800lbs am I correct. Talk to you soon
