Great night, it was slow to start off, but loads of bait around the boat
went one for one on Swords, little rat we released that ate the deepest bait, biggest squid, with a Sword belly strip for some extra flavor, and a cable leader Was supposed to be for the Mako QQ missed  might switch to all cable leaders  . Also caught a nice gaffer Dolphin ( Mahi-Mahi), and a five foot shark off some sort that we released as well. Popped the cherry on yet another boat , not a keeper but was a Sword on it first trip to the darkside never seen so much life in the light, triple tails of all sizes, and thounsands of little Mahi's  around the boat all night, with a few small swords swiming in and out of the light all night

Drifted from Jupiter to St. Lucie last night. Went 1 for 2 with a small pup release. Had another small sword slash a bait and follow it to the boat, saw it in the light, looked pretty cool to see it in action under the boat. Enjoyed some radio company from E$ and Flyin By. I think E$ said he was on a floating Hiatt Hotel or something of that class.
See you guys out there again when the moon gets right. Ray |

I fished on my old boat, the Fat Cat, that my neighbor had bought. He's been on 5 trips and hadn't put one in the boat yet. So he had asked me to go along on one of his trips and give a few pointers. Couldn't pass up the chance on a night with conditions like Saturday. So we headed out early and got set up with 6 lines out by 5:15. We put a 53 incher in the boat by 6:15. Then we released another pup at around 8:00. Needless to say my neighbors were happier than kids on Christmas morning. Unfortunately we had no more action after that we headed in at midnight.
