Default wednesday night results

Got a late start out. The wind was NW at 15 sustained, the ride out was not so bad. got to the 50 and the drift was 32-34 deg so I deployed the drone. The drift was now 29-30 deg. only put out 2 rods. 300 on the balloon and the tip at 400. Chris was on duty while i took a nap. the waves were a legit 3-5 with an occasional 5-7 thrown in. man that parker floats nice. 9.5' beam ... just as i start snoring Chris yell fish on. hit the tip rod but just as fast it was gone. changed the bait and drifted for another hour or so and called it a night. there were 2 other boats out there, cant remember there names. 1 was sat tagging and the other was fishing. 1 hour and 40 minuets to get home. looked like a seen from "perfect storm". lots of wind, sea spray, and waves bigger than my boat. thank God for the pilot house. Ray

Ray,

That is just not good to hear, I was out smoking on my porch last night and there was no wind, and a great looking moon around 11. Figured whomever went out last was going to crush them.

According to Fowey, you guys had some pretty stiff winds. We will be out tonight, forecasted to improve.

Default Where's the fish?

OOh OOh, That sounds like I am committed to go. I better kick it up a notch at the office, to be able to get to the boat on time. Green light with the wifey.

Going to give those swivelled hooks a try. (No snap swivels, no intermediate swivels), simply main line, to wind-on, to swivel hook... to fish, hopefully.

They make a shirt that says, "Why live on the edge, when you can jump off" and has a skier or snowboarder jumping off of a cliff lol (It's in Colorado)

If your not living on the edge, you are taking up to much room.
