Default Keepin it reel 10/17

Had the pleasure of inviting some friends to fish w Greg on Tues eve.

2 of the guys had never caught a sword & we wanted to change that.

5 minutes after lines in, shallow live bait gets smacked.

55" fish in the boat & Mike's first sword EVER !!

Try to get em back out & another sword about same size is chasing that shallow live bait. We never got tight, but fun to watch the chase in the light.

Little later I got SMACKED on the tip rod by a good fish. Cleared the lines, fish ran off a bunch of line & pulled the hook (ruh roh)

No worries a few minutes later we had a anotehr one on & let him go.

Ended up 2 for 3 w 2 cherry's popped & a good time had by all.

Thx much Keepin it Reel !!

E$'s looking tough but he was smiling the whole time (except when the photos were snapped). He was so happy and content to have "delivered", he took a well-deserved break on the way back in.

Thanks E$ & B - you guys made it happen for this rookie! :thumright:
