I know several folks get pissy when there's a lot of convo on the VHF... but at the same time, it's good to have friends out there. Besides the obvious safety advantage, I think it adds to the comraderie and fun of a night out fishing. :thumright: We do try to meet on alternate channels when possible.

That brings the warm, sweet urge to choke the crap out of somebody when they do that.

The other thing adding time to the fight was the fish was snatch hooked in the face.

Here are the pic's, brothers first keeper in the boat. Cool gaff picture, notice the dings in the gaff. That was from early days of sharking :lol:

went out on the Catch my Drift hooked up on three landed two the one shook the hook right at the boat.
