Default GOT MY CHERRY POPPED 10/12

Well the weather was supposed to be 5 knts SE, and it was untill the slight chance of thunder storms showed up. It got alittle rougher but not too rough. Had baits in the water 45 minutes before dark and never got a bite till 11:30.

Since I'm the only one on the boat still carrying the big V. I'm up first So i get tight and fight the fish for a total of about 2 minutes. Get it
to the boat and I'm embarassed to say its my first, if I had to guess it
was 27 ljfl (but he sure was a cutie.)

So we reset. At 1:15, the 150 bait bait gets hit so hard we hear the ballon pop before we hear the scream. I get strapped up again, the fish runs off 150 yards and turns strait at the boat. Next thing I know he's right at the boat Gaff goes in and I've got my first keeper 65" with a 43" girth. Total fight time about 10 minutes with 24 Lbs of drag.

To some it all up I'm hooked and i'll post pictures when they get emailed to me. Kyle
