my neighbor went out last night. Ended up going 2 for 4 with a fat 64 inch fish in the boat. The fish was full of squid, close to 2 dozen.

Good luck tonight

I only found a couple squid heads and misc. small well-digested fish in the 2 swords we caught Saturday. Maybe the bite was so hot because there was a lack of live squid in the area? Just a theory. If there's plenty of squid in the water, our baits may be overlooked.

I have a feeling the bite is so hot because the Tinker migrated back down.......we picked them off 120' down consistently and the ones we put back down got smoked. They are not coming up in the light, they are down deep.

We caught a fat 59" last night very early. They should be snapping tonight. Good luck. Here's a pic of the fish:

Well bite was slow at best. But we headed in around 11:45, so there may have been a late bite. 1 or 2 fish and a few pups on the radio. Fished the 49-51, wanted to head deep but never did, o well. Might have to go break in the 80 tomorrow if i get it in the AM.

He (or she) ate a rigged squid at 200ft down. I believe in "matching the hatch". See the photo of the stomach contents below.
