Default Orange Beach, Pensacola, and Destin Swordfishing

I have been swordfishing a few times at the spur this year and have released 3 small swordfish and lost one estimated at 250 due to a TLD 50 tearing out at the frame. I am curious as to what section of the spur and desoto canyon as well as other areas such as the dumping grounds and near the rigs you are fishing. Specifically what depth of water and bait depth on different moon phases and what time of year is most productive in each area. I have heard that the rigs and steps are better during the winter but never hear much about the elbow or dumping grounds but i figure they are there too? anyone being successful with live baits or circle hooks?
