Default Tonight 9/2

The BEAST is going to give it a go tonight. We will be fishing the south Miami area around Elliot Key. Most of the storms have been up your way in the Ft. Lauderdale area -north.

The TEASER is on standby. If it clears up, I will be doing the "Nothing Drift".
Some pretty mean storms rolled through around 3 pm.

sflman,

Give me a shout and hopefully we will be telling each other of THE bite. I scan my radio so any channel will get me with a double shout. We'll be leaving the dock @7 PM

I am not a superstitious person but I have come to believe that mechanical functions before fishing trips are omens that mean for you not to go. For whatever reason I have never had a good trip if I had to fix some type of unexpected malfunction that delayed my departure. Probably just coincidence, but now if something goes wrong before a trip I just don't go.

I guess the "Nothing Drift" was pretty decent on Saturday night.

Jupitersailfish had good action & so did we.

We ended pulling a hook after a 15 minute battle, having a pup whack a squiddy a few times, and ended up putting a 52" in the boat.

Here's Capt. Mike with our fish.
