One for three...Got out there by a handheld and setup, not exactly sure where. Had one fish at around 10:00 play with the tip rod and swim around with it. Never got tight and saw the fish swimming around beneath the boat. Maybe stretching the 47" mark. No action and didn't hear much on the radio when the stern tip rod started singing, fish immediately broke off under boat. It wasn't a second before the front tip started screaming. Got tight and harnessed up. Stuck the fish while seas and wind picked up rapidly with some rain. In gear as we pulled her in and flew home. Measured at 71 inches and unsure what it weighed. Pics will come later hb hb hb

Relentless:
Congratulations on landing that nice size fish. You may have crossed the 200# threshhold. Be sure to ask Mike for a 200# Club Shirt when he sends you the T-shirt for posting your thousandth post, :^o . The girls will see you, and say: you've got to be kidding. Then you can gather them all around and tell them a real fisher-man's story. Just be sure the story includes a dinner and a movie, because not all chix are interested in fish stories. But a nice dinner seems to work everytime.

Thanks RT, I don't think it broke the 200# mark. But what I do think is that the Lighthouse Point Marina scale is rediculous. It said 154 and the guy there said it was over 8 pounds off because he weighed himself. Everyone who saw the fish thought it was a solid 180 lbs.
