Default Friday Night Report 8-18

We ended up 2 for 2 tonight. Released a 45 incher around 10 and boated a 51 incher 30 minutes later. Also had one slashed bait around 9:30. The release hit our 150' jug and the keeper hit the tip rod at 100 feet. It had aroud 8-9 squid in its stomach.

went 0-3 and lost count of how many slashed baits, heard lots of small fish get caught. It was nice to hear those 80"s scream for a nice 30 second run on the three we pulled hooks on. At the ramp saw someone cleaning a fish that was the size of the table with the bill but to tired to argue with anyone. We were out on the 45 last night south of the 26.00 all night. Great night but think I need to use smaller baits to hook these rats.

Catching, I heard you hail me but couldn't get to the radio in time to answer. I busy with a boat of newbies. I did the drift on the 49 line. Went 1 for 1, releasing a 46" fish, and saw a nice one swim into the HydroGlow.

It was pretty slow for us to the south off Miami. We got one solid bite at 2-15, and pulled him off right next to the boat. We called it right after that.

Yes same hear very busy night, actually have blisters from working the rods last night. That is why did not hail anyone once the action started, we were gitting hit every 15-20 minutes once it started around 9-9:30. Captain was having fun with the Slurpy machine comments in between bites. All in all a very fun night with a good groups of people, just wish one would have stayed on the hook long enough for a picture, or dinner
