Default head boat report

Headed out at 6, set up. We had two bites within 10 minutes of putting in lines, butt only one hooked up. He fought that one for about 30 to 45 minutes and then pulled the hook. Later, on the next drift, we set up on the same spot. Within 5 minutes, we had another hit. then it went slack, and he stopped reeling. Little did he know the fish was swimming right at us. he became tight on it again, and lost it before we could stick it with the flyer. So we went 0/3. Butt all in all i had a good time. Butt then again i always do. Maybee it has something to do with all the beer.................. :-$

I have been invited to fish that boat the last two trips but couldn't make it. Capt. Adam is a good friend of mine. I told him he could make some loot running trips off that boat. Maybe next time I'll tag along and check it out.

Wonder if you could fish a tourney off that boat? Fish 15 lines with like 4 swordlights in the water?

I think they don't supply rods and reels because they know fullwell they will get beat to crap and they would rather that not happen to one of their 50's or 80's hooks are in bait and most leads are lost at sea

Where does this boat head out of? How big of a head boat is it? How many people do they carry?

Captain Adam works the Flamingo out of Ft Lauderdale so I am assuming that is the boat. Unless there is another Head boat with a Captain Adam. It has been a while since I have been on the boat but it is nice and the night crew very helpful.

He used to work the flamingo, butt he is now on Catch My Drift. They rent rods and reels for 15 bucks a pop if you dont have one. They go out with 9-15 people. The tackle includes hooks, leads, buoys, squid, and or live blue runners.
