Went out last night with my son and his friends. We started out the day catching blue runners at the ships off port everglades and headed out.

On the way out we found an old fiberglass dingy floating and you guessed it.. GOLD

Dolphin, triple tails, trigger fish, and even a wahoo. Most of the dolphin were pretty small 3-5 lbs so we only kept 3 that were pushing 10 lbs or so. The wahoo would not eat our runners or squid, so we took off to the 50 line.

Setup on the 49.6 line and 25.59 and drifted away with only one run off on the live bait. Reset in shallower and as my son is cranking in the tip rod it got smoked, however the drag was ultra light, so it was tough to tell if it was agood fish or now.. fish pulled off in about 10 seconds.

0 for 2 was it for us drifted some more without another bite.

Moon was about half full....
