Default Blue Boat 4/23/06

Well got an early start on a Sun afternoon in search of a dolphin, I had a sword virgin along that need to be broke in and an old timer, Turtle. On the way out, Flat calm and a clean ocean and not a dolphin to be found. I figured We would warm Him up on a dolphin but that wasn't happening. Anyway We were almost on target as it was getting dark with a few little adjustments to hit BelongaKens hill, My furuno of MY hill {stay off .lol}

Now notice 1056 same as last week

Anyway were lined up perfect as I am starting to see BELONGAKENS hill come into view, Then the long float starts to scream just like last week, You know that wonderful sound that a Tigra makes, The one We all dream of. I slam it into drive and We are Tight ! Turtle harnesses our virgin in and He is off to the races. Short time later He is circleing the boat causing all kinds of caos and I grabbed the leader and pulled him into range and Turtle slings a 55 incher aboard. Then He realizes that He is no longer in the water and goes crazy as Turtle rides Him out.

We Get the lines back out and settled down and and a look at the chart plotter reveals that We are headed right towards the outer edge of area 51 another one of BELONGAKENS hotspots.{Stay away .lol} Then sure enough Turtle yells long again and 2 floats disappear, Everone grabs a rod and starts crankin, We keep askin each other, Are you tight ? No, Are you tight ? No. Then all of a sudden our virgin goes for numer 2 yelling IM TIGHT! -IM TIGHT! and Hes right under the boat ! anyway to make a long story short I have leader and he is green as green can be and going for the engine as I try to hold him off the hook pulled and it went down as a Plam Beach release as We watched him swim away.
All in all it turned out to be a beatiful night with great friends, And another wonderful night to burn into the memory bank.
Ken

The trip was killer. I got to thank Paul, Andy and Davie on the REEL LIES for taking me out to get tinkers the day before. I couldn't have got the mutts without there help!

Yes Tinkers beat out the gogs 3 to 1. But If I were you I would still catch pinners, philchards, etc. If you have any questions about the trip feel free to give me a ring 954-274-7380.

Secret revealed :-# - Fresh dead Tinkers versus Frozen tinkers.

My secret to you - Fresh Fried Tinkers taste much better than Fresh baked Tinkers, ( which of course do not taste as good as Fresh baked Mutton snapper - but that part you know already)

I've got some frozen tinkers in the deep freeze. Man, if I could only trade some of those for some mutton.
