Lol... amuzing now we got name calling kiddies or most likely oldies (billwisher, nilfisher ,wanna be roland martin) how are you gonna bet a fish is dead from a pic ,you must be a gambler .Oh and you are the posterboy for conservation with the big dead marlin next to your picture in your avatar . Now for randy you dont see someone holding the tail of the fish im just "ballancing" the fish on my fingers huh. Then you go on to assuming again (which you are not good at ) >where does it say i measured the fish?Like i said he was brought aboard to untangle the fish on both of them (those are 2 seperate fish both were tangled) and the man not on the rod had the camera ready ....why am i explaining myself anymore , i just will laugh at you haters being haters.

Smoked eyes means nothing, when you say WE who are you talking about, because I dont agree with you, you are in the wrong. What you should do is publicly apoligize to the man for trying to start a bandwagon against him which you have yet to do. Since you are now photo experts and getting your expert photoshop guys to look at the pic, why dont you take into account that in the first pic both of those guys are wet as can be, and in the second pic their is no way that the fish would still have such coloration if it were dead. What difference does it matter how big the fish are, HE NEVER SAID HE KEPT THEM. You are wrong, you damaged the man's reputation, based your assumptions on nothing, and still sit here trying to prove yourself when you admit that you havent been doing this vey long. Are we fisherman here or what......whether that fish is 47.00" or 600#, if you want to kill it, kill it. If you have a problem with that, maybe fishing isnt for you. I treat every single bite, like its big nasty, I have no shame in saying, I want the fish gut hooked, how do I know how big the fish is. Some of them die, that does not mean "I am an idiot who does not know how to realease a fish unharmed" it means that some of them die, end of story. I have let small fish swim around in my light for 15 minutes and dont even feed them a bait, I am not out to kill every fish in ocean, but it is fishing and chit happens. Be a man, admit your wrong and aplogize. I dont know Dred, but he went 3/3 on his first trip on his boat, that is something to be proud of, he should be stoked, but instead he finds himself having to defend himself against wrongful accusations. I am only 25, but it is obvious that age isnt always a judge of character. Though I catch alot of fish, I am the first to admit that I owe 99% of what I know to others, I am an expert by no means, and learn something everytime I get on a boat. I have sat out there hundreds of hours without catching a fish......I think some of you need to come off your pedestal, lego your ego, and admit that you dont know everything about fishing. I am not disrespectful and I dont mean this to get you all pissed and start a rampage, just trying to make a point. This happens on all these fishing forums, to the point where the people that catch, dont post, even though it would benefit all of us to share reports and information. Hopefully, you take it for what it is and dont get upset by what I said, as I want no problems with anybody. We are all fisherman, there are terrorists, gas station owners, ect to get upset with, not another person who shares the same passion you do.

Johnny

Fishesdead:
Let me tell you something my friend, by this time you are pretty darn ridiculous trying to defend yourself over what should have been laid to rest already. I can personally tell you I spoke to several OLDIES (as you call them) swordfishing guys and they say they want to throw up already over you, your post, etc.. Regarding my avatar by the way that fish is a max trophy fish and won big money in a toruney. Anyway, why don't you try a piece of humble pie as many people think you need to here. You are some young little cocky dope head who thinks he is Ernest Hemingway! I'm nobody fishing wise compared to some in here but am 1000 times the fisherman you'll ever be. You got 1 small keeper (if you think that sword is big you need a reeducation), and think you're some kind of swordfishing guru and get somekind of childish bragging right b.s.?! Speaking for myself and some others, you're a downright embarrassment to this entire forum! You should just hear what some of the oldtimer swordguys are saying about you fishesdead!

Eat the humble pie and lay low now,
Roland

Well unlike Johnny I will claim to be an expert He is 100% right across the board!
RC: Stop the hating man. Most of your posts are about hating comercial guys and now you hate the rec guys too.Dude get off it the guy let the fish go :!: It was not dead and they cant live in the fish box.If the fish in the pics had blood on them then I would say they were going to die.But no blood fresh out of the water they got a very good chance. For a guy who is new to this fishery wich you say you are I think you need to back off your bashing  Except for just a few guys here I have put more swords on deck 99.98% of you guys and yes most were on a long liner.I take back the expert statement I am not an ex anything I am a pert. RC if we rec guys do not come together and stop bashing each other I promise you! we will lose the fishery we now enjoy.I hope my post is the last one on this thread

Fishdread again good job on your trip. :salut:
