Default It looked like I95 out there last night.

We went 1 for 2. Both bites at 300+ depth. Fish in boat at 9 PM average size, Headed in shortly there after, as wind was switching to the west.
"Wind from the West...stay home and rest."
Perfect conditions for 40 plus boats that I could see. Looked like I 95 out there.
I had 2 boats setup right on me both to the north and south side of me. F-in idiots. The one to the south of me (sportfish), did it twice. He was to close so I picked up and went East about 400 yds to get away from him, then he picked up and did the same, followed me out, right back next to me. WTF
I heard there was a Mako on, but didn't hear if it was boated. Another boat had twin 58 inchers, and another boat had been fighting a fish for 3 hours when we headed in. Don't know if it was boated.

Very cool fish. You get any pics? The one we got last month was in the 12-13' class, 400-500 maybe?

We were also 1 for 2. Caught a 53 incher on a 200 ft. squid and a pulled hook on a live tinker 100 feet below the boat. Both were before 8 and south of 26'00. Had a few baits whacked on the north end of the drift, but called it quits when the wind shifted and headed in.

I was with Barry,Keith and turtle last night. The other boat needed a hand so we picked up and ran over.Keith jumped on the other boat to help get the fish in.Barry said the one you guys got was twice as big.If thats true which I am sure it is WOW!The pics you guys have do not do the size justice. You should have had Barry jump in to give the pic some scale.

There were a lot of boats out the for sure. We went 3/3... released a pup and had twins come to the boat at the same time. Taped out at 58.5" and were only 6 lbs apart. One ate a squid at 300ft top rod and its twin ate a live tinker with the new secret LP Electralume at 100' on a balloon.

It was a lot of fun last night... good company for sure.

The 280# that was brought to the scales was a beast for an 80 incher.
