Default FRI 11/25 Went 1/2 Off Sebastian Fishing Report

BaitWasher Finally got out agian. Ran down to FT. Pierce from Sebastian made our first set just before dark in 1200 ft of water, 4 rod set with squid at 50'-100'-200' and off the tip at 300'. So started our drift... and drifted... and drifted.... [-o< [-o< Around 2:30 am North of Sebastian off the south end of the Cones in 900'of water 8-[ I see a light off the bow as I'am making my way to the cockpit, the tip rod start to sing I come tight on him and he sounds a short but tough fight later (damn these fish can pull) he's on the surface motionless, he gave it every thing he had, we grab him by the bill slid him in the boat 50"..... yea buddy!! :thumright: we are going to have to think the running to FT Pierce thing though :-k So after some high fives and celebrating we reset on the same line. An hour later the 200' rod takes a hit we reel up tight he pulls some drag, and then nothing..so we bring the line in to find he's balled the squid up on the hook. He felt like a nice fish but then agian, all lost fish are the the bigguns It was a good night altogeather would like to have some more action but we'll take what we got.

Lake made a set just south of us, how he found us I'll never know he lost all his electronics not even a radio. sorry about your bad luck lake, though he did have some hitts. You will gett'em next time :thumleft: need to get aprox times you took the hits so we can try to figure out the locations for next time.
I will post some pics as soon as i figure out how to. I did post them in the gallery.
Oh I forgot to mention when we cleaned the fish we found the stomach full of small 4-5" undigested squid.
