Default Storms Chased Us Back In

We tried to head out of key biscayne last night, but the lightning was too much and the captain made the right decision and pulled the plug.

That didn't stop Team Tiara or Darkside though.. I heard of a 200lb plus fish and darkside got one around 60 inches. Way to go!! hb

See ya on the darkside smoker

Got out to Hollywood Hills around 8:00. The sky looked real bad to the south so we waited 1/2 hour to make the call on putting out the spread. Decided to go for it. Covered a lot of ground on three good drifts. Only action was one hit on the tip rod with a live gog. Wasn't hooked up or pulled the hook three minutes into the fight. Fished till 2:00 waiting to get the outcome of Chumin's fish but he was still heavy into the fight so we pulled the plug. We didn't get wet and the lightening left us alone so no complaints.

Looks like the storms were all across Florida....It was a rainy ride all the way up to Georgia.
