Report for 7/8

We went 2 for 3 on the squids with the first 52" just wrapped and fought for 40 minutes including a nice jump. First Sword for a guest from Houston. The second was a solid hook-up on a 56"er (or damn close to it darkside (':lol:') ) that fought for 30 minutes and he was very green when we put him in the boat. Way to green, but thats another story. On the live bait (gogs.) we went 0 for 4 and didn't see signs of a strike with any of the four. We only bridle the live bait and bring up just the head after the strike. Who has experience with a trailing stinger hook? The night was beautiful and the drift was perfect at basically due North. Nice Job Team Bullfighter. I will call you later to find out what time and how deep the bite was and if the bite was by our usual #'s. I am going out with Team Tiara tonight, I hope we hook up.

I don't like stinger hooks, I would rather lose a fish or miss a strike than injure the fish severely and then lose it. Just my 2 cents on the subject. I hope to get out with you and allottabull soon,U guys have been smoking them out there.

I went 3 for 3 last night and only fished for a total of a hour and 15 minutes. Bite was good we went home with 2. Did anyone hear the guy on the radio saying he had one 350 and 480 in the boat? :shock:
