Default 9-27-05 Tues Night

I was Invited to come along with Greg last night on the new "Keepin It Reel" a 35' Sea Hunter, All I can say is simlpy Incredible ! What an awsome machine !
We left P.E and He stomped down on it and in 40 min We were down off Miami puttin the lines out. Then some Goober comes closer than 100 yards form Us and starts settin up, We tried to get him to give Us some room but he wouldn't. I just dont get it with a whole ocean.
We had just got everything out and settled in when I saw a rod bounce and a balloon go goofy, I told Greg get over here. Then it went normal as He went for the harness, I told him get over here and the rod bent over and We were tight !
He puts the heat to him and in no time We have a fat 65 incher in the boat !
After all the Chaos settles down We heard Drew say that all of his baits have been hit on one set, So we decide to check all of ours, sure enough 1 slashed runner, another tangled up livie.
We just get um all out again and the long one goes off ! and He is giving a 50 wide a run for its money shooting across the surface. I clear all the other lines and give chase, This one is fighting like a Man ! After a nice fight with a few jumps We have another nice fatty aboard !
We decide to pack it in at 9:15, !0:00 We are in the Port with the coaties right on our azz.
Thanks Again Greg for another wonderful night to burn into the memory bank !
Ken

Awesome job guys. I see Ken brought his black leaders along...how much drag was on there by the way? With those stiff rods there had to be 30+.

Nice fish Greg. We ended up 6 for 6 with a 230lber a 140lber and 100lber. We released a 90lber a 70lber and one 60lbs. Best swordfishing i have ever seen. Nov. 5 leg 2 for HYDRO GLOW Tournaments.

Wow Drew, good stuff. To land all 6 out of 6 bites is impressive (and a little lucky of course  ).

Great trip Ken. Especially to be back in that early with 2 slobs in the boat and your vertebrae all still in your spine. I try and only fish a two man team so I don't think I'd even consider trying to go 6 for 6 if the opportunity was ever there. With my luck I'd have three fish in the low 50's boated and dressed then catch the 300lber(s). Good job guys.
