That fish, to me anyways, does not look 409lbs. Maybe its the angle or something.

Don't mean anything by the comment, it just doesn't look very girthy.

Does look skinny, but I see how it could go that much. I thought the same thing. Obviously still an awesome catch.

That fish is little bit skinny, but it is real long. The LJFL was 96 inches. When I first saw the fish I estimated at 400 - 420 lbs. The pictures of swords hanging don't do justice since its hard to compare the entire length of the fish next to a person.
No doubt and awesome catch especially in a tourney and a great job by Steve the angler and the entire crew. If there is one way you want to win, its with a SLOB!
