Addicted to the Darkside! An a report

Got out once or twice last year and hooked 1 fish. I liked swording then, but a few weeks ago was my frist time out in over a year... now I'm addicted!!!
that night we went 2.5-5 (2-4 before 9pm).

Got out Friday night(9/16) with a few guys from the FS forum(Headfirst, beerman, and FlatsfishB). Had one good hit and run on the shallow bait, and had slashed bait on a ballon bait (happend some time between 3:30 and 6 am when all but my self were sleeping!)
Had a few huge Triple tail come up in the light. We rigged up a 50 Wide with a 1/4 oz jig, but I blew the hook set! Those 50's aren't sensitive enough :roflmao:

Good to see a few familar names on this board and look forword to posting a few good reports soon

Back off Tek, that's all mine. :lol: He had one good shot at about a 150 #er that took a look but then pounced on a squid. We'll get him hooked up soon.

Tek, I'm still waiting for mine on the avet sx...we did get one on a penn 16 that cut us off under the boat when he was very green. Also had a shark peel off line on the sx and then instantly cut through the leader...my time will come.

Sorry Tek... Mitch and I had a talk about this, and he is the one who's gonna do it!!!!! If you need a crew one night, and want Mitch and I to tag along catch one on the long rod, lemme know!!!
