Default 8/30/05 great swording trip

We had a great time out there. We had a triple header for a min. Ended up losing two and releasing one. We picked up and moved back down. After we got set up a nice fish came into the light and wouldn’t eat anything. ( Any one have a trick to share on getting these guys to eat better?) He looked at the squid for a while then went to the blue runner and left. About 5 min later the 200 balloon went off and we put a 60 incher in the boat. It was really neat seeing that fish cruising under the boat!

Apparently the scale is gone at halover so I don't know how much it weighted. Any ideas? He was Fat.

Thanks,
Steve

hope the pictures work.

Nice work... probably 110lbs or so...

Sometimes, teasing the fish at the boat like you would a dolphin works, by jigging the squid or reeling it very fast... doens't give them time to think about it, and sometime they just nail it..

Cool too see those purple machines off a hook swimming around eh...

Good job... hb

Sometimes they will eat if you put a squid back beyond the lights halo. Nice work.
