Default 2/2 on the 31st

Headed out last night with Kevin K and Matt Darwitt. We set up on 00/50 We get our spread out when the tip rod goes off 150ft down. Next thing you know the fish is darting to the surface tail walking like a marlin. We are tight and after 25 minutes we have a nice 55inch fish in the boat. Two hours go bye everything is quiet now the middle ballon goes off screaming. This fish is on fire I fought him for at least 1 hour when he finally hits the deck 61inches. Not a bad night! Both fish were caught on squid with one on a LP Strobe "thank's Tek" and one one a LP Blue with a red Flasher. I cant believe I left my camera home for the first time !

Good to hear there were some bigger fish biting..

We all had to work very early this morning, so we headed in early, after being tight on a few times.

Default Chum or No Chum, chums ?

Now did anybody use chum last night, as a part of the spread?

Albar1 ?

FinalPoint ?

By the way. Way to go last night. It is a tough job, but somebody has to do it.

Pat - I noticed all those photos you had in the bucket. Looks like you're finally getting some good tail-end action, before the semester starts up again. I did not notice it before, but that is a pretty cool boat emblem with the swordfish in the middle of Final >--^-.--- Point . :thumright:

Rt, We did in fact chum last night but not in the traditional sense. We were looking for a mako. We hung sword heads and bonito. No luck with Mr Mako though.

No chum for us, but I would like to entice a mako myself.. we did have a shark bite on the shallow squid balloon... leader came up all toothed up....

We also had LOTS of baitfish in the light last night.. more than usual.

Thanks RT...Bobby did the shirts (RJ Boyle). Joe from Shadow Graphics did the boat name. As Mike pointed out, no chum, but a shark bite - bit through so fast there was not even a click off the reel...as for losing all of our other fish last night - #-o . Glad we went though.
Great job Albar and Kevin

Default You have T-shirts too?

Wow.... Shirts too! I didn't catch that one. This is starting to sound like you are in the makings of going "Tournament".
