Not sure about Miami, but up here there are a couple shops. Scott will make sure to hook you up. Broad Bill, is that you tagging those swords...I wanna start tagging fish under 55 in or any size if I have one in the boat. It is just amazing how much meat one fish gives you.

Yes I tag most fish under 55 inches... pretty easy to do.. talk to IGFA.. I got a bunch of tags from a friend in the area...

I live near key biscayne.. I'll contact slasher and see what we can work out..

Thanks

Very cool idea to have an adjustable poon... is it made to throw the whole unit in the water or do you stick the fish and hold on to the pole?

Final Point,

I guess there are two Broadbill's online now, but we tag most all of our fish up our way. You can order tags from the Billfish Foundation 10-12 at a time. If you don't have any yet you can order a starter kit which has 12 tags, an Aftco tag stick, and all info needed for tracking and sending in tags. They are the same tag cards for marlin and sailfish and there is a swordfish check box on top also. I'm with you, there is plenty of meat on one fish to last a long time (plus I would rather eat tuna or a cheese burger). For the most part we treat swords like marlin and sails and tag and release. Good Luck!!!
