Wednesday Night Report

I had the pleasure to fish aboard "Goodfellas" with Vinnie and Corey. Unfortunately the fish were not cooperating with us. We started our first drift off hollywood and about the 49.5W. Within minutes we had a boat setup no joke, about 50 feet from us. We could actually talk to him... Eventually he realized we were not to happy about that, and he moved.

By 8:00 we had our first fish playing games with us. He followed up tip bait from about 100 feet and spears our live tinker mackeral. Vinnie proceeded to drop a squid down and the same fish started smacking his bait, but would not eat! This fish laughed at us for about 5 minutes, then it was gone. By now we were out pretty deep so decided to come on the inside of the 50W.

Same story on the shallow side, 1 more hit and no action. We may of heard about 5 or 6 fish boated, but other than that the action was slow.

Mr Bobby Boyle did keep us entertained, with a solo of "Heard It Through
The Grapevine".

A beautiful night out on the water with a SE 10-15 knot breeze and seas 2 foot.

The best part about fishing is JUST BEING THERE, BUT CATCHING FISH MAKES IT ALL THE BETTER!
