Default Ocean City, MD fishing report 7/4-7/5

I'm back up in the Northeast for the summer, and we decided to take the boat from Point Pleasant NJ down to Ocean City, Maryland for a few days of fishing. The bluefin tuna bite was hot on the inshore lumps about 14 miles from the inlet. All the fish we caught were schoolies (about 20-25lbs) but we caught a lot of them on ceder plugs. We also caught a few king mackerel on tuna clones and ballyhoo. If anyone is looking to tangle with some tuna, Ocean City is hot at the moment. The offshore bite at the canyons is also starting to heat up with larger bluefin, yellowfin, and blue and white marlin.
