Default Daytimer 6/12

Got one deep dropping today off LHP. The current was running at 4 kts. He was only about 60 inches LJFL but FAT. Guessing he was 75 lbs, maybe a little more. We didnt bring a camera so I dont have pictures and we butchered him on the boat so that we could get him slushed in the box. Not a pumpkin but he was pink and tasty! We did a few drops off of Boca on the way home and picked up some good sized black bellied rose perch to round out the catch. The ocean was calm and pretty today and we beat the afternoon storms home with a nice dinner in the box.

Thanks DL...I like the boat too. In fact, since you seem to be a Merritt guy you have a good eye because she was finished at Merritts! My problem is a 30 year old steering ram. It's beyond repair so I'm having to re-engineer a new system. She's been in the yard for 3 weeks Finally, yesterday we had a meeting of the minds and a solution Should be fishing in another week

I repowered her last year with a single 315hp Yanmar. Cruises 21 knots on 8gph which is a beautiful thing these days!
