Some days you're the pigeon. Some days you're the statue.

I day timed today off palm beach. I started in 1800 did 3 drifts. The first drift I had a squid attack my top bait. He put a huge hole in the squid. the bottom bonita bait was ripped in half with some large jagged marks. Guessing some type of shark? last 2 drifts I had one more mystery bite with bonita ripped and jagged again.

Lucky for me, It wasn't my rod, I was a Boat Jumper today, still sucks though, I know what the feeling is like to pull out another $250.
matter of fact I did it yesterday, 1200 yards of spectra, some tackle, oil change, couple of filters. Maybe I should sell the vessel and buy a hot rod and just be a Boat Jumper

I think the proper term is "boat whore".

Hard to believe that a west wind would have any effect on deep dropping. If nothing else, it was probably a beautiful day to be out there. At least, that's how the webcams looked. I should have gone out for some normal drops.

No doubt Buck it was a beatiful day and we had a blast, Like I said before, a fisherman needs something to blame it on, The old Ken would have said the buoy guys got um all, But squid boy would have got upset and started making calls, So I went with the west wind. .lol
Im gonna use today as a day of healing, and maybe after checking my financial statement, I may head offshore again on Fri. after all I have 2500 yards of fresh spectra, fresh oil, fresh filters .lol
If your interested in tagging along, get up with me.

Thanks for the offer Ken... but I've got work and Beerfest to attend.

Might be a bit bumpy out there in the stream.

That's cool! How the heck do you get those little guys to crank and have the rods bend?
