Default 2/23 Wahoo,Mahi and a pinkie

Had an old friend with me yesterday and it was a pleasure to stumble into a few fish. We decided to troll out to the grounds so we left around 2pm ran about 7 miles out and put em out. When all hope was about gone the deep rod started screaming and we quickly boated a 30# Wahoo. Two Mahi's, both around 10#, showed up as we boated the hoo and just could not keep themselves away from a fresh shiny pilchard so we boated both of them. We got cleaned up and headed for the swords. By 9pm we had a 62" pink sword on the deck that wieghed 115# according to lhp marina. The wind went west and we went home. The sword ate a squid at 300' and was on the buisness end of my harpoon in about 1/2 hour. It's belly was full of squid, bottom species and a tinker or 2. We also had the tinkers all night.

We had one bite last night at 215ft in about 1550-1600ft. Man it got rough off of Jupiter.

Nice work. Many people were saying it was rough down south?

We pulled a small one off but loaded up on the tinks with 92 of them in brine plus another two dozen or so.

Where were you when you were getting the tinkers?

I started below double zero's on the 50 and drifted in to 48.5 and had the tinkers the whole way.
