Default Saturday Night Super Bowl Eve report and question.

We set up about 30 minutes after sundown and with in 10 minuets we had an LP racing across the surface. We reeled hard but never came tight. Unfortunately that was our only action for the night. The sea were 2-4 maybe but the wind seamed like it was cranking out there. While we were out there was chatter on the radio about a daytime fish hooked up around 3 PM still being fought at 9:30 at night. Does any one have the conclusion to that story or know anymore details?

The fish your talking about was a big eye thresher, my friend Colby hooked it around 2:30 and they had it to the boat around 10:00. It was hooked in the tail and came up dead.

Nice night out there, I had Quack Quack, and his nephew Cory on board, we went 4/4 on 50-53 inch fish and were home by 9:30.
