Slow night. Had one shot at a fish at about 8:30 on the 200' squid. Tried fishing out on the 48.5 with a pretty good north west drift. Second drift we tried in around the 50.5 with no action.

Most interesting part of the evening were the jellyfish lighting up everywhere around the boat. Drove us crazy hoping they were LP's coming to the surface.

Very quiet radio ( even fewer jokes than usual ) With all the boats out there and very few fish mentioned on the radio, I sure would not want to consider longlining for an occupation. I'm sure I would go hungry.

Called it a night at 11:30 When my entire crew had adjorned to the sleeping quarters and I was left to look after everything myself.

had two good hits early on squid 100' & 125'. Had one big zinger, came tight and pulled the hook 10 min later. Did not stay out for the moon and back in boca @10.
