Thumbs down Went out of St Lucie FRI. nothing to report

Hey group,

Sorry no Fish.

Made it to the fingers last night and setup around 7pm. Beautiful evening. There were a grouping of some small white strobes visible south in the distance. I figured they were commercial Swordfish buoys. The wind and current moved us quickly North. Pulledup and repositioned. Nothing! No bites no slashed bailts nothing! Im sure we did everything correct. Drifted till 11pm when the Captain decided it was time to go. WE used squid and staggered lines 350ft, 250, 200 150. approx.
We got the transom lights and the disco lights. Everything cameup unmolested and untangled. Oh well I guess that is why they call it fishing and not catching. so far 0-6 BUT WE WILL BE BACK!

Broadbill nothing drifting

Don't feel bad Doc. Put substantial effort into the N>Drift last night. 4pm-6am. 0/1. What is the name of your vessel. We heard a couple crews from up that way, sounded like the Seahunter, boated a fatty....Decided to pull the plug around 3am, when a decent fish followed up the deeeeep tip mackeral. Got him to slap a bait around, but couldn't put him on the leash.
