Default Back to swords 11/27 3-4

Got schedulued for a charter tonight, so I gave Nick C a call to see if he wanted to help out. He is in and we clear the inlet into a nice ESE wind at 5-10 mph with our four anglers around 5:00, and by 5:50 we are set up. Around 6:15 the long starts clicking and we get tight. Angler #1 winches a 51 incher in and we make the call to harvest him since he wasnt looking to good(foul hooked). Get the spread back out and the long goes off again, this time producing a slashed bait. Go to get the spread back out and as I reset the 3rd rod, line zips out of my hand and I get tight on a quality fish. Angler #2 is in the harness and after 30 minutes and some good runs, I sink the gaff into a fat 70"er and Nick follows up with the other. As we go to pull him through the door I wind up with a 6 inch aftco through the side of my leg Future EMT Nick C believes I hit a vein, but I say f*** it and wrap a shirt around it and decide to keep fishing. Nick deploys the 1st rod and just after the float is on, fish number 4 eats and angler #3 is harnessed. After another 30 minute fight I grab the bill on a 66-68 incher(could not get clean measurement) and since he is lookin good we decide to turn him loose. Maybe good karma for the tourney . Get the boat cleaned and realize its only 8:45 :king: . Give it another hr and then head in.
Total: 3/4 51 in killed, 70in(165lb)killed, 66-68 released
Great night on the water, always nice to have good company

Congrats guys on a good night! We had a pretty good night ourselves and I heard the Reel Bonus was hooked into a slob for over two hours+. Never heard what happened though.
They are chewing though, day and night.
