That is what they want you to believe and tell the the public so the rec fisherman will spread it around not to worry we arn't catching many fish. If they were not catching fish they wouldn't be there, You go ahead and believe it if you want to, but I wont ! Sure he is at a disatvantage with high flyers with radar deflectors that are affected by the wind as opposed to the traditional small low profile flashers that we all have come acoustomed to seeing that are not affected by the wind and float out to sea. He probably is not differnt than 35 boats floating with the wind.
one of these nights when its 6' seas and everyone else is on the couch, there is going to be a pack of fish traveling through and he is gonna kill um with his 35 hooks.
And also remember this is the summer time blues, Wait till oct, nov, dec and see if you feel the same way if they are still around .

Im sorry but these rigs are not some small guy supplementing his income with a few trips a month on a nice calm night. This is the begining of big time !

"No BS in the law thing sorry you have your head in the sand or what ever about this issue. At least you are passionate about what you believe in.

I know what I know and believe what I believe.Just like religion or other beliefs you do yours and I will do mine.

I am a little shocked that Vinny decided to take this thing a diff way.I was watching you all beat him up and tried to defend LLers and him then he goes after buoy guys and how they are the next thing to wipe out the swordfish

I am done with this BS for now that's for sure. You guy's should have been at Drew's party last night you would have had a blast.I am looking forward to fishing Sat night and will put a slob on the deck for you guy's.Come on down to the weigh in and see for yourselves."

thanks for respecting my right to believe what i want - and much respect to your opinions, Q. you also seem to be passionate about your views and i respect that. it is interesting the BBP went after the bouy gear guys - i didnt see that coming.

good luck and tight lines

anyone else reading this thread think that commercial fishermen don't already have equal access to this fishery? if so, why not?

Eric,

My issue has never been buoy fishing, it is equal access and gear conflict. Rollin surely has his head in the sand when he defends the killing of pups by recs one minute and condems commercial interests for doing the same thing the next. I suppose he only hooks mature fish and has a zero release mortality rate?

He is only one vessel, 70+ vessels will fish tomorrow night. There is power in numbers.

i've gut hooked 3 pups since we've been doing this, maybe 3 years now, set 'em loose to be mud darts - and i felt bad about those. had one more that had a hook in the gills - not ours - probably didnt survive.

equal access means exactly that - equal limits - for all.

how about equal gear? and maybe equal limits?

nah. never happen.

but... pics of chicks with big tits does take the sting out if it.
