No I don't wish I had your permit.Then I would have to go kill them every night instead of just going out to have a good time.The fact of a guy that can afford a big boat needing the permit or wanting a permit just hits me wrong.

I could have at any time.So the $ is not my objection.

Most Sportfishers over 40-45' are going to exceed the HP requirement. Also it is doubtful a person with the jack to purchase a large SF is going to try to offset costs with a hand gear permit. It is easier to invite a few friends.......
