Didn't know we had a spearfishing section until I looked for the hunting section. I have been doing a lot of spearing lately thus why I have not been swordfishing. I have been spearing a lot with Captain Paul of varian charters the past few weeks. We had a really good week 2 weeks ago, a lot of blacks/gags/muttons/big hogs/cobia. Last week was slow, muttons hos and 2 blacks. Yesterday Managed 4 muttons up to 6 lbs a hog, and 8 bugs, one went 4 and one went 5lbs. Here are some pics...

yeah, yellow jacks are surprisingly good. I went out spearfishing with some freediving buddys. My buddy comes up with this 18lb jack. I asked him why the hell is he shooting jacks. He said they make good sushi/ceviche. He was correct. Actually pretty decent tasting.
