INSHORE - There has been a good snapper bite along the channel edges with the small live baits working the best. There are still plenty of trout being reported around the edges of the flats in 3 to 5 feet of water. A live pigfish has been the way to go. The catch and release snook action has also been good around the area bridges and docks for anglers using live shrimp. The redfish bite has slowed down some but there are still a few fish being reported around the docks along South Indian River Drive. Good reports of snapper,sheepshead and sandperch coming from the catwalks of the south bridge.

OFFSHORE - The dolphin have been scattered in 90 to 160 feet of water with a good number of fish in the 15 to 30 pound range. The kingfish bite has been in 40 to 60 feet of water if you can get away from the bonita and cuda's. I had reports of some nice size cobia being caught by anglers bottom fishing for snapper and grouper which the bite has been good over the wrecks and reefs. Look for the big tarpon along the beahes early in the morning and again just before dark.
