Default Forget the swordies!! It's time to kill a snook!

Ole coop dog and I decided to give the swordies a break and kill a couple snook tonight in my flats boat. Netted a bunch of finger mullets and hit up some dock and bridges around. Took a while to find some fish, but we found em. First bait by little bridge back in Ocean Ridge produced a 20-25lb Tarpon for me. Then came the fish of the night. Cooper's mullet get drilled by something nice. Fights the fish out of the bridge and to the boat. I about shat myself when I the saw the teef of this 8-9lb Cubera!!!!! Neat looking fish! Worked the area a little longer loosing 3 snook. Two of which looked to be right at 29-30" .
Think Cooper has some pics of da snappa .

Hey guys congratulate on your catches. These posts really belong in the
snook/tarpon section. Let's help Mike "clean up" our forum. cheers, arthur

Thumbs up mullet run

true......Mullet run rules. Killed a snook, and a fat flounder yesterday in Hermans Bay. Tons of action. Trout, jacks and ladys galore.
