Afther 6-7 times visiting same spot,,,with no luck,, my daugther push me for a last chance before they get back to school,,the funny thing is we always see them rigth on shore hunting sardines,,we launch anything similar(bucktails, rapalas,DOAīs) to that and NADA de NADA,,,not a single strike.

But finally we get them!!,,12,17 AND 18 Lbs...some picīs.

Wearevermx....pretty work on the robalos. Love that beach snook fishing. I caught a few a couple weeks ago on the west coast of Florida but not as nice. I threw several things at them sight-casting and they finally ate natural DOA shrimp.

Tus hijos han tenido unas vacaciones inolvidable con los robalos y con los meros misties del otro dia. Felicidades!

By the way, what beach is that? Near Tulum? Maybe down closer to Ascension?

Tight work! A couple ice cold Bohemias to you!

Juani

Those are some great looking snook! Tasty eats for sure. What Juan said about your kids having a great vacation and the slob misties and snook was spot on.

Juani
This beach is located between Punta Maroma and Mayan Palace Resort,,has been a great snook beach in many years,,there are 5-6 springs supplying fresh water,,thatīs why sardines and snooks always are there,,the BAD NEWS! is italians are building a big resort just in front of that,,and 2 things can happen,,,,one they are going to ruin the environment or two,,dont going to let us fish on shore.

Saluddd Capitan Juani.
