Default First Slot Snook

The bait has been thick all week on the ICW here. I'm land locked since my motor being stollen a few weeks ago so I've resorted to dock snook fishing here at my house. With the recient cooler weather I've had my doors and windows open. I could hear the snook popping all the way up to my 4 floor condo. It was insane! The first night out on the dock brough my first slot snook.

I have a question: notice the double lateral lines. Does any one happen to know what this means? I've never seen this before . With out much luck in my breif research on the web I've come up with no answers. I'm curious as to what this means if any thing.

Nice fish Boo!! The double line is a genetic deformity. Like having a redfish w/ multiple spots.......so I was told by the fwc biologist. Have only seen a handful like yours. What was the length?

Thanks for the info . It went 29" and I ate the 'em too, deformity and all . Very tasty ! But I hope that "deformity" won't be a problem....thank god I've already had my kids.

Well truth be known I'm 4' 11 1/2", size 6 . The goods news in that is that it does promote my catches to look on the rather largerer size for the pics .
