I need help I have a reel that is stuck wide open? in saying that If i plug it in the reel starts winding up, the motor is stuck on no matter what I do wit the lever . have two reels and had this before and can not remember what it was.
please help

Send it back..I blew up a motor and had it covered by warranty..Then i tail hooked a blacktop and it is grininding now...

Were you able to fix the issue yourself the first time? I don't recall any setting that would default to full power. I'd send it in for service.

Buck,
The first time I am not sure whar we did . it was sticking and I pushed some buttons unplugged it and re plugged it in and problem was solved, Not so lucky this time. I was only thinking it was stuck in jig mode or something like that. Patrick

If you unplug it for longer than, I think, 15 minutes, the computer should reset to default mode. It shouldn't restart in jig mode. Sounds like the programming has gone glitchy, or the throttle position sensor has gone bad or disengaged from the lever. In any case, send it in for service.
The last time, I sent mine out to California. But it looks like the new Miami location is open now. I'd give 'em a call first.
