Missing a Yellowfin 36?

Anyone missing a 36' Yellowfin - trip Yam 350's - hull serial#YFY44875K506 ? If so the Cayman Islands Government has it and is looking for the owner. Boat was seized from four Cubans who came ashore illegally. Appears that they were waiting to pick up passengers from Cuba but needed more fuel.

I can put pictures up if neccessary - boat has lots of rod holders, looks like set up for sails or swords.

Looks like an SKA boat. Yellowfin should know who bought the boat based on the hull#.

We saw that boat when we were 6 miles off rum point fishing a weed line figured the boat was by a drift circling a lot got to about a 1/4 mile of them they took off. Thing that made me suspicious was no rods on board and only saw one person on board was at 10 am in the morning wish i called it in now could use that crime stoppers reward !

most likely stolen from bahamas and taken to cuba, you can bet not the first time they ran that boat.

Looks in pretty rough shape. If I were the former owner, I'm not sure if I'd want it back. I'd say the Caymans just got themselves a new police boat.
