Default Have any of you seen these pics before?

I was just in Nicaragua last week and ran into a friend who told me a horror story from when he was fishing in Ft Laud. May, 2006. I asked him to send me the pics, and the email he sent to the Charter boat owner.
Have any of you seen these pics and the story behind them?
Do you agree that it is a Great White?
From what I heard the boat has changed ownership so don't get pissed at the new owners, if you recognise the name on the transom, or old owners for that matter, the Capt. was solely at fault.
I won't get into the story if it is old news. But it really pissed me off when I heard the story last weekend, and told him that I would follow up on it for him, as he has not heard that anything was done.

Please let me know if anyone has heard any details.

Wow I didn't even hear about that...that REALLLY pisses me off. It is definately a great white...no question. That really sucks if no one was prosecuted. It is well known that it is highly illegal to kill great whites. There is no excuse to have crap like this ever happen. Do you know who the former owners were, or what the name of the vessel is?

Good question, yes they were targeting shark at the time.
CC told me today that he has is a video, but it will be a while before I can get it. He is currently in Panama and says it's back home in Cali. It may give a better idea of what actually went on.
