Good luck in your quest. Where ever you catch them...make sure to release them. Large sharks are slow growing and are in decline, and there is no food value to a tiger shark. Even better, tag the fish so you can be updated if it is caught in the future.

Chubb Rocks just to the Northwest of Great Guana. Yes, it's spelled with two b's. Lots of tigers. Shallow water, so they can't sound, just a horizontal fight. Fun on light(ish) tackle, maybe 30's.

Awesome video guys, and an even nicer release. Those big sharks help keep those pesky little sharks in check. ( at least thats what the university of Hawaii's study showed ). They are definately one of the most awesome of the apex predators. Good luck w/ your quest.

It was funny, about ten minutes after we got the tiger back in the surf and swimming off, the beach was empty. Them boys ran for the hills.

Here is an 8 second high definition clip of the shark. Sorry if it has copyright in the middle of it, but the video is pretty valuable. In high definition you can see how much energy this one had.
