someones been posting our shark pics on this site , and i recived a IM from fourm member with a link to let me know about it . im pretty stoked about it , us being land based and all! its our poor man game fish . we work pretty hard at it and ive been doing it for a lotta years . there no better felling of hooking that big one from the surf, and it pulls out 300-400 yards on the first run!!!!! any one has any question on how to do it , please feel free to ask any questions . its a lotta fun! i have a lot more pics if any one want to post them in the shark section. just wanted to say thanks , and enjoy ! were still loking for that one thats gonna push over 700# plus! the big bulls stayed out on the reefs this year , wait till ya see the pics of those ones we catch, there as big around as they are long ! wish us luck! .............mike

I saw your beach shark pictures in the gallery and they are pure awesome! Some of the coolest pictures i have ever seen.

Please post more!!!

I have done my share of shark fishing from the beach, but nothing to go crazy about, mostly small bull sharks

i love seeing those pistures of huge sharks being caught in the waters i surf in. haha. im from new smyrna where we have multiple shark "attacks" a year(a few being my friends). whats the biggest one you have caught from the beach? most the sharks i see here are babys, they bite and let go, although i have seen some large ones. What do you use for bait? Do you release them?

Keep catchin em

yes, all sharks are released. we pride ourselfs in that . get the pic, and back in the water they go! nascar pit crew speed. we also dont like to bring them high on the beach either, get them up as far as we can, snap the pic when the water reciedes . most of the time they will shuffle back in them selfs , and thats a good thing! hammerheads ya have tho work with them due to there body shape in that shallow water ..........mike
