As you may recall, Quack Quack was proposing/suggesting some type of voluntary donation for a charity, which I believe he settled on St. Jude's Hospital. He also inquired at one point, on whether anybody would be interested to offer something up as a little prize. But to keep it simple so that he can have fun too on this trip and not have to work hard with tasks at hand.

The directors of the Swordfishing Club said they would contribute a "fishing tackle goody" bag/basket as a basic gift for participation on the Swordfish 203 trip voyage. RJ Boyles Studio (& tackle shop) will prepare the selection of a few items, valued at ~ $100. Quack Quack said he will work out the details on how to give away that prize or perhaps any other prize donations should they appear without him having to make any active solicitations for more stuff. So there is at least one goody gift for a fortunate swordfisherman/woman compliments of The Swordfishing Club.

I think the theme for this trip is: to have fun and not to work other than catching fish and boating them.

I propose: Every individual who donates to St. Jude will get 1 raffle ticket. (donation amount should remain anonymous)

Heck... I'll offer up 1 free "design" of a boat logo, business card, company logo, advertisement, etc... (not including production cost) Value is approx. $200 of my time! Non business-related graphic design options are avilable too. BTW, I like doing on-water boat-to-boat photo shoots.

Uncle Buck:

Thanks for your donation too. Not everyone is an artist.

But everyone can appreciate lots of talented artful renditions.
(You should vacation in/around Portland, OR: you may like it if you have not already been there, done that. Just a whimsical statement that I would suggest is good for you.)

If I could offer another proposal? I would propose that everyone that is attending the 203 get a raffle ticket. No sales of raffle tickets, KIS. Plus anyone that does some charity donation: will receive a secondary raffle ticket. For me, that seems to fit this situation well.
