Default 201 weather we are going no matter what

 Before any one starts to ask let me say this the trip is on no matter what the weather is.

No we are not crazy and or stupid  I talked with Capt Adam and he feels the trip would go as scheduled if the seas were no greater than 6ft maybe 7ft.If the waves are higher we will go out as far as we can like the 58 or so.Maybe even stay inshore on the reef or at worst case the ICW.I am not going to freak out watching the weather all week and make a weather call on Fri to cancel to next week.I feel the core part of this trip is to get together and have a good time and share some knowledge and stories along with meeting some new friends. Not to mention we are having a great raffle and helping raise some money for TBF and joining TBF if you are not already a member. So in short The trip is a go :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

If any one feels they would not go if we are not going all the way to the 50 let me know NOW :!: I am sure some of the 10 guys on the wait list would go even if we stay inshore.

My crew is still in no matter what even is if it a cruise down the ICW. Still want to meet everyone so we have more freinds on the water if things go bad. Plus I would like to add another 80W to my collection, with the rod Ray made [-o<

Looking forward to meeting everyone

Good Luck-. I hope it calms down for you boys in time... 5-7 or less should be fishable in that boat. Hell we fish our boat in those seas occasionallly.. not fun, but could be with a good group of guys.

I may be out. I am trying so hard to save up for a new pair of shinny gold(or sliver) 50's or 80's, that I really don't want to spend money on a fishing trip(trips with Dad on the BW are free)
Although I could win and new 80W if I go... I'll know later in the week.

I thought this was Sword 201. There are no swords in the ICW.

Think your missing the point. This is more of a get together place to exchange ideas, stories, and to support The Billfish foundation. Did I forget party . Quack was clear on this from the beginning, if your just looking to catch a sword, this may not be the trip for ya. Hell for all we know we'll be setting up our drift on the 48, point is even if we don't get out were still gonna have a blast and raise some flow for the TBF.
REMEMBER: You can't control the weather, but you have all the control when it comes to your attitude.

Good stuff. Family, friends, and fishing. Not sure what I'd be doing
without them. Golfing? Nah I can't get the damm ball to fly
straight I started much the same way, just further south.
Went from the blue runner bandit, to the triggerfish freegaffing
champion. Love the pumpkin idea. Kind of like Gallagher, with
a harpoon.
