Yeah DF from Montauk around 77 or 78.Harpooned sword from the Viking Star on the way home from cod fishing.My dad was a Capt for them for a long time and I started my fishing on head boats. I was the conger eel king of the Viking fleet :lol:

Good stuff. Family,friends, and fishing. Not sure what I'd be doing
without them. Golfing? Nah I can't get the damm ball to fly
straight I started much the same way, just further south.
Went from the blue runner bandit, to the triggerfish freegaffing
champion. Love the pumpkin idea. Kind of like Gallagher, with
a harpoon. :twisted:

With all of the talant on the boat I am sure you guys can coax one into the port, even better right to the dock :lol:

Hopefully this NE wind that has been blowing for the last two weeks has blown them into 150 feet :lol:

TunaDevil's got it about right. Nasty NE winds gonna cause havoc out there. Only thing I'm banking on is the sorta-long wave period, 8 seconds. That may make 10-footers feel like 8-footers.

it just dawned on me i dont know how to get the the boat. i need directions please. when the weather was rough my dad would tell me to make sure i ate something the fish like to eat. this trip might be one of those trips....
