I would like t get a rod count so please contact or pm me if you are bringing a rod. Please bring your own Tackle, lights, lead, hooks, bands, etc.
There will be squid to rig and if you have baits rigged already bring some.I am putting a 50lb class reel min and 60lb+line is suggested.Beware if you are fishing mono that if a fish hooked on braid hits your line it will cut it off.So clear that line asap.

Food and Drink;
While plans are in the works for a catered trip next time I am asking everyone to bring something. If you eat 1 sandwich bring 2.If you drink a 6 pack bring a 12 pack etc.If you like to cook or can convince the wife fell free to bring a tray of ziti or something. We will put out the food on the way out for people to eat and leave it out to munch on through the night.

I will set up a table at the dock to collect money and sign up.We will have 3 chairs at the table.1.to pay for boat2.Get Raffle ticket3.To sign up for The Billfish Foundation.

The Normal cost of this trip is $100 and you should bring $110.It will be $45 for the boat $40 for raffle ticket and min $25 to become a TBF member.I am asking everyone to join TBF so they can continue to help us with Rec Swordfishing issues. You will get there mag and other member benefits.

I will do my best to make sure you all get the proper shirt size. But remember I have just so many of each size.

WHAT NOT TO BRING

EGO'S,BEER MUSCLES AND BAD ATTITUDES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE BOAT.

NO GLASS BOTTLES

The Date is Sat Nov 4th.Try to be there by 5:30pm boat leaves around 6:00pm

I will post directions and such closer to trip date.

Please contact me with any problems or suggestions.

Thanks for your support.

I will bring my two 80W's when demonstrating yet another way to catch Swords in our waters :???:

Nick you might be the only one left able to fight a fish since you will be the youngest on the ride so far that I know of that is not legally able to consume adult beverages

Remember guys this is a hands on seminar/training/party everyone needs to have a good time so we can do this again This is about a sharing of ideas on what is best for our fishery :!: If you only want to fish this might not be the best thing for you to do. If you want to learn about a zillion different ways to rig baits, set lines, attach weights, balloons, jugs, use a kite while swording then this trip is for you. Not to discourage anyone but this is what this trip is really about :!:

Or just sit back have a cold one that is fine too just all need to remember why we are doing this

Tight Lines,
Dan

Here is the deck so I would say bring your straight but rods, also talked to Cap Adam yesterday and those that want to fly a kite off the upper deck are more than welcome to do so, he said with any kind of breeze that night it will be very easy to do that, and he will be stocking up on runners during the week and will try to get some fresh the day of the trip. No promises on the live bait but he will try.

That's different... nearly every drift boat I've ever seen prefers to fish from the port side. Maybe I just havn't seen enough.

I'm planning on bringing a rod, if for nothing else than to learn what all I've done wrong.

Bringing a large platter of chicken wings for the troops as well.

UB and the rest of the guys signed up, the Captain and mates will not be setting rods or rigging lines. It will be on us to do this just as if we were fishing on our own boat so if we can manage to get a kite out and fish all sides of the boat so be it.

We as form members are either going to look real good putting three slobs in the boat, or well #-o ](*,) .

Bring your "A" game on board for this trip.

Will be bringing my 50w. Can bring the kite rod if need be, can't imagine we can fly more than three or four kites succesfully. Any thoughts. Was thinking about trying and transporting a few livies. It can be done, but then I thought, there is assuredly a livebait guy in that area we may be able to purchase a couple dozen or so gogs and runners from. Just a thought. Can't believe how much killer stuff is being raffled, or what a who's who of the SFla fishing community this will be.
